Freestyle and Greco Club

This training phase of our program goes from March to June.  Longer for those who qualify for Fargo.  All of our club members are card holders with USA Wrestling.  This means that they can wrestle in any USA Wrestling event in the country.  Look below at our “Links” section to check out tournaments in places you may be traveling.

We will wrestle in developmental tournaments in the three regions that surround us in Southern California.  You may elect to travel to any tournaments in any section that suits you and your family.  The regional associations are Inland Empire Wrestling Association (I.E.W.A.), Orange County Wrestling Association (O.C.W.A.) and our home association San Diego Wrestling Association (S.D.W.A.).  Click the hyper links to see the tournaments offered by these associations and the schedule.

Contributions

The spring season requires that athletes join the club.  This is a CIF rule, club wrestling is allowed but only for members of a club, it is not associated with the high school team.  To adhere to this we ask for members to pay a club fee.  We suggest $100, but do not want a wrestler to be unable to participate due to money, so we ask that each wrestler contribute what they can.  This can be from $5 to more than $100.
